T-105 Pneumatic Crimp Tool

The AF and SF Series of control connectors feature crimp contacts. When there are a large number of contacts crimp and / or the contacts are large in size, a pneumatic crimp tool will ease and speed up the termination process. The T-105 Series crimps from 18 thru 4/0 AWG contacts. The complete range of Vantage control connectors can be safely and reliably assembled and serviced with this tool.

The T-105 is a full cycle crimp tool; once the crimp cycle is initiated, the tool cannot be released and allow the contact to be under-crimped. It is powered with any source of clean air within a rang 0f 90 - 125 PSI. The standard configuration features a thumb control

Periodic inspection of the tool with a check gage is required to assure crimps are within specification.

Accurately positions the crimp on the contact. The correct locator varies with the design and length/size of the contact.

Contain the four indenters which make the crimp. The die selection must match the wire size. Note: Vantage ferrules should be used when crimping undersized wires.

Dies should be inspected periodically to assure the contacts are crimped to specification. This eliminates “over” or “under” crimping. Go-No Go check gages are available for each die size to determine if calibration is required.
