Ground Power Receptacles

Vantage Ground Power receptacles mount flush into the concrete deck of an aircraft hangar or service apron. Cast from nodular iron for increased strength and durability, each unit is available with one or two power receptacles mounted in the intermediate cover.
Power receptacles are rated up to 200 amps at 60/400 Hz.

Accessories

Combinations of explosion proof pushbuttons and pilot lights are among available control options. Mounted into the intermediate cover, they allow the user to control power at the receptacle for increased safety.

Receptacle covers can be color coded to easily distinguish between different electrical systems, an added safety feature.

Receptacle Options

The intermediate cover can be fitted with up to two different power receptacles. Available receptacles are 30, 60, 100 or 200 amp in size and have 2 pole 3 wire, 3 pole 4 wire, 4 pole 5 wire or the GDT ~ 3 pole 4 wire plus (2) #10 gauge relay contacts for electrically interlocking the power supply.

Conduit Location

Customer determines size, location, and number of power supply points of entry.The customer has a number of choices when it comes to locating the power supply point of entry. They may have an entry point on all four sides plus the bottom and they may range from ½” NPT to 4” NPT in size.

Drainage Method

Two 2” N.P.T. tapped holes are located in the skirt of the ground power box in addition to the drain ports. 2” pipe with elbows can be assembled to help facilitate draining. Care should be taken so that the end of the pipe is flush with inside wall and does not interfere with assembly of intermediate cover. Caution: Inside bottom drain should be fitted with a length of ½” pipe and not be closed with concrete or foreign matter.
